Hungry Giraffe Christmas iPhone update coming soon
Hi everyone we’re just a couple of days away from submitting our fantastic Christmas Hungry Giraffe update to Apple. This update includes more festive features than you could shake a mince pie at, including a new Christmas icon, Christmas lights, festive food and Santa hats. We’ve also added a friend for our giraffe as our first skin - the appropriately Christmassy Reindeer skin – which will be available as part of the first update.
Even those Scrooges out there who want nothing to do with Christmas will want this update, as version 1.2 also brings a host of new improvements including a total revamp of the Store, improved icons and simplified descriptions for each upgrade. Not only that, but with the forthcoming closure of Openfeint, we’ve completely stripped out Openfeint and replaced it with Game Center.
After the holidays, we’ll be adding even more upgrades, plus we’re creating mini missions for the game, giving you bite sized tasks to accomplish while you continue your journey into the snack-filled skies. You can expect more news on these upgrades very early in the New Year. Exciting stuff!
Since the update is still in the pipeline, you can check out the existing version of Hungry Giraffe on iOS here.
Back on PSN we’ve just released another brilliantly cool theme for all your PS3 desktops. Our brand new “Sunset Flight” Dynamic Theme will be priced at just £1.59 and really is a must have this Christmas. Go and check it out on the PSN store now!
Finally, a big thank you to everyone who’s bought one of our awesome new T-Shirts from the Laughing Jackal Store. So far our biggest seller is this rather stylish OMG-Zombies T-Shirt, which you can check out here. You can check out the full list of available T-Shirts here (and those of you who prefer your prices in US$ should go here.) But remember, you’ll have to order by tomorrow if you want it to arrive before Christmas via Standard Shipping.
That’s all for now. I’ll be back next week, but until then why not on join us on our Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google+ pages?
