Laughing Jackal Minis on Vita
Hi everyone. It’s been great this week to see the continuing positive reaction to our latest PlayStation Mini Hungry Giraffe. Not only do most of you seem to love it but, if the feedback on our Twitter feed is to be believed, the critics have been impressed too.
Pocketgamer awarded the game 8/10, saying:
“Simple, short, but immediately engaging, Hungry Giraffe is a game that will devour your time as readily as its protagonist devours tacos.”
Paranerds also loved Hungry Giraffe, commenting in their 8/10 review:
“It’s one of the most original concepts I’ve seen in a while and for a puzzle game should keep you playing for a while, pass it to your friends, see who can get the most points. Grab this and enjoy! It’ll fill you up.”
Right, that’s enough halo polishing. :-) Now, some of you may remember my open challenge to you all on Cubixx HD, with a selection of free games from our back catalogue available to anyone who has a higher score then me in Arcade mode by the 26th March deadline. Well, so far it’s going pretty well for me, as I’ve moved up a fairly impressive 24 places from 67th to 43rd on the leaderboard. In the process I’ve improved my score by over 3 million, to a cool 14382348. Can you do a better job of stopping me this time around? Tune in next week to find out!
Aside from beating you at Cubixx HD :-) I’ve also had a look through the Vita SEN Store and currently in Europe the following Laughing Jackal games are available for download on the Vita:
Ace Armstrong vs. the Alien Scumbags
Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain
Ace Armstrong vs. the Alien Scumbags/Stellar Attack Bundle
Cubixx/Vibes Bundle
It’s possible some others may work if they are transferred across from a PC or PS3, so if anyone has managed to get any of our other games working on their Vita please let us know.
That’s all for now. I’ll be back next week, but while you’re taking a break from trying to beat my Cubixx HD score, why not on join us on our Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google+ pages?
