OMG-Zombies and Cubixx are out now on PSM
Hi everyone. As you may have noticed we now have two new games joining Hungry Giraffe on the PlayStation®Mobile Store. We have ported the awesome OMG-Zombies and our first ever PlayStation minis title, Cubixx, to PSM. Both games are available for just $2.99 / £2.39 / ¥300.
When released on PlayStation minis, Eurogamer called OMG-Z “...a monstrously addictive quick-fire affair that utterly nails what on-the-go handheld gaming should be about.” in their 9/10 review. This gore-soaked chain reaction zombie shooter is still in the top 10 PSP games of all time according to Metacritic and - with higher resolution artwork - now looks even better than ever. The higher resolution artwork also makes it easier to line up that perfect shot.
“Alert! Alert! OMG-Zombies! The City of Redfield has been hit by an outbreak of exploding zombies! For cool and unimportant reasons these suckers literally explode when shot, showering their zombie brethren with gore and causing chain reactions of showering zombie gibs with just a single bullet!
Armed with this knowledge (and bullets coated in a zombie-exploding pathogen) your elite unit is dispatched to the epicentre of the outbreak. Your mission? Succeed where the police and army failed and clean up the city!
For reasons that aren't important right now, all but one of your team is killed before arriving at the outbreak's epicentre, leaving YOU to deal with thousands of zombies ALONE.
Use your chain reaction skills to explore 81 waves of zombie hell across 32 environments. Earn 324 shiny medals and cold hard cash, and use it to buy 70 different upgrades all designed to MAKE ZOMBIES EXPLODE!”
Cubixx was our first self-published title and also spawned a sequel in the form of our first ever full PS3 game, the amazing Cubixx HD. Upon release, this thrilling action puzzler was awarded 9/10 by The Sixth Axis, who called it: “massively addictive.”
“Use your laser to cut away the surfaces of a mysterious cube and free the energy within. Cutting longer lines and crossing multiple cube surfaces gives you bigger combos, but at far greater risk.
Can you brave this hazardous environment and complete all 20 levels? Old-school, highscore-chasing gameplay with a modern twist.
Do you have what it takes to top the high score table and become number one?”
That’s all for now. I’ll be back next week, but until then why not on join us on our Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google+ pages?
