The first Hungry Giraffe video footage is released

Hi everyone.  We’ve got a bit of a treat for all of you who are ravenous for more news on Hungry Giraffe.  We’ve been hard at work since last week’s Guide to Caring for Your Giraffe and are now ready to show off the first work-in-progress footage of Hungry Giraffe:

So, what do you think?  We’re aware that we have a few tweaks and additional particle effects to add but hopefully it will still give you a clearer idea of just what we’ve been up to.  We are very proud of the giraffe’s neck; I have been told that there’s some really clever maths behind it! Also, I can tell you each of the food items have been researched and personally tested for calorific and nutritional content!

I was going to leave it there for this week, but last night I was visited by three spirits who showed me visions of the past, present and the future and how Laughing Jackal have not always kept Christmas in the right spirit.  Upon waking, I was struck with a sudden urge to buy a large turkey and head around to Bob Cratchit’s house.  Sadly I realised I didn’t know a Bob Cratchit and - while I could look one up in a phone book - I’m not sure scaring a stranger was quite what the spirits intended.

So, instead, I have decided to launch Laughing Jackal’s 12 Days of Christmas.  Every weekday, 12 days before Christmas, we’re going to be giving away PSN codes for our games over on our Facebook, Twitter and Google + accounts..  So, join us as we spread good cheer (and games!) and, if you’re very good, you might find a Laughing Jackal code in the bottom of your stocking.
