Hi everyone. It’s been another busy week here at Laughing Jackal and work is continuing on our next Vita project. Earlier this week in fact I was called over to take a look at two different concepts for an announcement trailer.
Despite all this hard work we managed to find the time to speak to the team over at ctwisted.com about Hungry Giraffe and our future plans. The full interview can be read here so go and check it out :).
In other Hungry Giraffe news one of our followers on Twitter Spwni has tweeted us a truly incredible score on Hungry Giraffe. Spwni managed to get to a height of 10005915 and considering the closest at the time of writing was over 9 million away that is some achievement.
In other news earlier this week we released a Wild West inspired theme created by our team of our artists and lovingly put together by Marc.
The Gunslingers of the Old West PlayStation 3 Dynamic Theme is out now for £1.59.
Finally a quick word on one of our more unusual projects as we can now reveal that we will be working on the PC port of Agarest: Generations of War for our friends at Ghostlight. You can find more details of this Idea Factory game over the projects Greenlight page here. We wouldn’t mind overly if you voted for it either :).

Hi everyone.
Since the New Year (with a little bit of art being produced pre-Christmas) we’ve been hard at work on our second Vita game, which I’ve been told we should be able to let you know more about soon. We’re so excited the game is nearly done. As I write we’re reaching a feature complete build and are ready to start squishing the last few bugs. It’s sooooooo close to being done and we think that it’s easily the best thing we’ve ever produced. More news (hopefully very) soon! #Can’tWait
I’d also like to reassure those of you in North America that we are working to make Hungry Giraffe available over there as soon as possible. In other Hungry Giraffe news, thank you to everyone who has contacted us with bugs. We’re currently cooking up a patch which will fix the issues with loading screens and leaderboards. These issues have already been fixed in our latest product so now it’s just a question of rolling those fixes into Giraffe as well. :)
Finally some of you may have seen that the SCEE PSN Spring Sale is now live. :) In case you hadn’t noticed yet, I’m happy to report that several Laughing Jackal Games have made their way into the sale. Until the 10th April you will be able to buy the awesome Ace Armstrong/Stellar Attack Bundle and Fighting Fantasy: Talisman Of Death and Warlock Of Firetop Mountain Double Pack for just €1.99/£1.74. Both double packs have been reduced from €4.99/£3.99 so that’s a mighty saving!
Not only that, but a couple of our themes have also made it into the PSN sale and you will be able to get your hands on the Forlorn Hope – 3 Theme Bundle and the 12 Signs Of The Zodiac – 12 Theme Bundle for just €1.19/£0.99.

Hi everyone. The Laughing Jackal team has now grown with the addition of a new programmer, Martin Cook.
So please let’s all give Martin a warm welcome. Martin, an industry veteran, comes to us with many years of experience tucked under his belt. He has experience of working on a host of classic and current platforms not to mention running his own company for the best part of a decade. With his excellent technical knowledge we are sure that it won’t be long before you’ll be seeing the fruits of Martin’s labours.
In other news Hungry Giraffe has been out on Vita for a week now and we want to hear how you’re getting on with the latest version. What’s your best score? How high have you managed to climb? Please let us know in the comments or on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Screenshots are encouraged :).
Those of you who haven’t picked up Hungry Giraffe from the EU PSN store can find it here or by searching the PSN store for “Hungry Giraffe” as unfortunately only the original mini is listed in the latest section of the Store.
