Lots of you have been asking about the giraffe on our Facebook page and what exactly its purpose is. The giraffe is, in fact, inspired by our latest project for PlayStation Minis, Hungry Giraffe.
Our giraffe is hungry: feed him! Yes, you can help this poor giraffe grow his neck high enough to eat the tastiest food by collecting all the snacks you can. Guide his head on its ‘twisty-turney upwards journey’, picking up all the tasty treats you can find, but make sure you don’t get food poisoning, as what goes in can come out again! :S
Hungry Giraffe is the only giraffe-feeding game on the PSN Store :) and it’s coming soon to PlayStation Minis!
Those of you in North America can pick up our latest Minis title. Steve Jackson and Ian Livingston’s Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is OUT NOW on the North American PlayStation Store for the low, low price of $4.99.
European adventurers will also be able to get their quest on when Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is released on the SCEE PSN Store on Wednesday 9th November. May your stamina never fail!
Finally our producer Al was interviewed by Horror Video Games about the creation of OMG-Z. You can see him talk about his thoughts on the game and show off a little of the design document here.

G’day. It’s been a long time coming I know, but I’m delighted to be able to tell you cobbers that Cubixx HD will be available in Australia on the 9th November 2011 for the low, low price of $12.95.
Cubixx HD has been released in North America and Europe to critical acclaim, with The Koalition calling it: “ ...an essential PSN purchase.” in their 9/10 review. ZTDG gave it 8.5/10, saying: “Cubixx HD is a worthy investment that offers up tons of challenging game modes in a package that not only looks great, but plays great as well.”, and finally, The Digital Fix said: “[Cubixx HD] will offer you hours of addictive, manic, compelling and frustratingly euphoric gameplay. - 8/10 ”
We also haven’t forgotten about the promised SCEA Cubixx HD code competition, so starting this Friday we’ll be running competitions across our blog and Twitter for a week. So, keep your eyes peeled for your chance to win a bonza copy of Cubixx HD.
It’s also Halloween this weekend the night when ghosts draw closer to the world of the living so why not stay safe and warm with our most monstrous games OMG-Z and Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death. Until the 9th of November OMG-Z will be on sale for just €1.19 / £0.99 saving you €1.80 / £1.50 and Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death will be available for €2.49 / £1.99 giving you a saving of €1.50 / £1.50. Now there’s a Halloween Treat for you all.
Finally, I would like to say goodbye to Steven, our Producer and a bloody good bloke, who is leaving us today to work for Sony. Our long-term readers might remember Steven’s Cubixx HD Development Diary. You can find the first post in this series here if you didn’t get to enjoy Steven’s blogging the first time round.
Now, where’d I leave that flamin’ billy can? ;)

Hi everyone. I’m sorry to have to tell you all that, due to a small technical issue on our part, we have had to delay the European release of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone’s Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain until the 9th of November 2011. The North American release of Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is unaffected (1st November 2011)
Thank you for your patience.
