I hope you’ve been honing your retro shoot-em-up skills because I have some exciting news. Those top blokes over at The Sixth Axis have chosen Duæl Invaders for their April PlayStation Plus Challenge! More details of this competition can be found here. The Laughing Jackal team will be sending in some truly monstrous scores, so not only can you compete for the grand prize but you can try beating us at our own game.
All scores need to be submitted before 7:00pm on Sunday the 17th April, so you don’t have much time to send in that all important hi-score! What are you waiting for? Go get those guns blazin’!

Hello again,
We've had another really nice review for Duael Invaders, this time from Esperino.com, who've awarded the game an 8 out of 10 and generally seemed really taken by it. Yay! :D
It's pleasing to know that, ahead of its 'public' release on PSN (that April 19th/20th guys!*), people seem to get what we were going for with the concept. Bear with it and it's a game that can feel immensely rewarding.
My favourite quote from the Esperino review is probably: "Outstanding game with unique controls." Couldn't put it any better myself! ;)

* Duael Invaders is available now for FREE to PS+ users, and on general release on the PSN Store on 19th April (SCEA) and 20th April (SCEE). The game will cost you $3.99 or £2.49/€3.99 and comes localised into EFIGS languages. Please buy it! ;)

Hey everyone,
Just a quick post to let you know that the people over at pushsquare.com have been kind enough to review 'Duael Invaders', and have awarded it an excellent 3-out-of-4 squares.
The stand out comment for me was: "...when everything clicks, [Duael Invaders] makes you feel like the greatest human being alive.", but I won't spoil it. You can check out the review for yourselves right here.
