Another Big Week for Laughing Jackal

It’s always a nervous time when your game is released, as you find yourself worrying what everyone will think about your games.  With Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death receiving it’s North American release this week meaning it is now available worldwide, along with last week’s European release of Cubixx HD, Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death and the worldwide general release of OMG-Z, it’s been even more nervous than usual here at Laughing Jackal.

Fortunately, we’ve been able to breathe a sigh of relief as not only have the critics loved all three games, but our fans have as well. You can see what the reviewers think at the three links above, but why not visit our Facebook and Twitter to see what everyone else has been saying and to tell us what you think?

One of the great things about online leaderboards like the ones in Cubixx HD is that they let us see how everyone has been getting on with the game.  Special mentions go out to Everton989, who was the first person to manage a score of 1 (which is actually a lot harder than it sounds :)) and Janeaway, who has managed to get an amazing line of 13857 on Line Attack 2.

Before I leave you, I thought I’d remind you about our fantastic Fighting Fantasy Competition which closes tomorrow.  Enter here for a chance to win some amazing prizes, including the book we worked from when creating the PlayStation Minis version of Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death, which not only still includes the dev notes but has been signed by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone themselves.

See you next week. :)
