Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain passes submission
Hi everyone. We’ve been busy here at Laughing Jackal of late and while everyone’s been talking about our upcoming mini entitled Orbit, we haven’t forgotten about all the other games that we’ve got in the works. And neither have the lovely people at SCEE, who I’m happy to say have just approved our most recent PSN mini conversion of Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson’s Fighting Fantasy series, the classic that is Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain! Keep checking back with us because we’ll be posting release and price details as well as showing off the brand new trailer very soon.
Some of you might also remember our massive Cubixx HD SCEE code drop, in which our Senior Producer, Al, went on a mad code dropping spree across our Twitter account. Well, we’ve got something similar – but not exactly the same - planned for our SCEA (North American) codes. I’ll have more details for you all soon, so in the meantime keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook for all the latest news on our exciting competition.
I’ll be back next week with all the latest from Laughing Jackal.

Yay!!! Are you gonna do a giveaway like the 1st one? The signed book and poster.
@BioDio Maybe. Your going to have to wait and see I'm afraid :)
Loved the first game, Looking forward to the next. Any improvements over the first game's system, or will it be a rehash of the first game with a different story?
@Prime We listed the changes in an earlier blog. They are: &The; Log Book now remembers which book you were in (Character, Item or Page), The user can now return to the top of the page by pressing the up button when the first option is highlighted, A "Good" generic alignment portrait added to Character Bios and a new mini game has been added to the end of the quest
Quick question, when you mean - mini game after adventure - are you saying that, we unlock a new game like... (example) tetris, so we have something to do after finishing the book? Like... 2 games in one?
@BioDio No. It's not something seperate but part of the main game. It's just it uses a different mechanic to most of the game.
Sign me up! I look forward to my chance to review the new Fighting Fantasy minis. Just need a US Code and I'll be sure to play this one till the end!
