Hungry Giraffe gets a release date
Hi everyone. Things are starting to get busier here at Laughing Jackal. Work is continuing apace on “Mystery Game X” (someone is going to have to think of a catchier working title!) and we’ve now got to the point where we’re happy with the character’s movement and controls. It’s still at a very early stage at the moment, but rest assured we’ll be sharing more information on it as soon as we’ve got some stuff to show off.
We’re also still hard at work porting some of our PSN minis to the iPhone. This is something a lot of you seemed quite interested in us doing and we’re certainly looking forward to bringing the Laughing Jackal experience to a whole new audience. Our first game is going to be one of our most recent minis.
Now’s probably a good time to reassure our fans on PSN that we’ve not forgotten you and we’re delighted to reveal that Hungry Giraffe will be released on the European PSN Store on the 8th February as an exclusive to PlayStation Plus users for the price of absolutely nothing! After two weeks Hungry Giraffe will go on general release for just £2.49 (€3.49).
Moving on, as we revealed in last Friday’s blogpost, the 15/02 PSN Store update should be a good one for those of you who have yet to try some of our older games, as we’re going to be releasing three fantastic bundles at amazingly low prices.
Finally, we have a bit of a rare treat for you as our producer, Al, escaped his handlers to talk to PlayStation Crowd for a massive 2 and a half hours (O_o) on their latest CrowdCast. Fortunately, Al was safely recaptured soon afterwards, but not before revealing Laughing Jackal’s deepest darkest secrets (well, not quite! :))
That’s all for now, but if there’s anything else you’d like to ask us we’re always available on our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages. Or you could ask us in the comments here. ;)

Ok, that's one release down. Still no news about a US release for the game?
@EdEN No news yet. We're still waiting for it to pass submission in North america.
I'm still really liking the concept for the failsports game, is there any chance of a revival? perhaps on Vita?
@Gincairn It's an idea which still has a few fans here so we'd quite like to return to it if we get the time of course.
Well it's got at least one fan outside the office too if that's any help :)
