Merry Christmas 2013
So, goodbye 2013. Another year has passed in what seems like no time at all and it’s now time for us to start getting ready for Christmas.
Here at Laughing Jackal 2013 was the year of the Vita, as we released our first two full Vita games. The first of these was a remake of our last PlayStation mini, Hungry Giraffe.
Our other Vita title for 2013 was the gory OMG HD Zombies, a massively enhanced remake of one of our most popular minis, OMG-Z. This Vita remake actually ended up taking longer to put together than the original, due to all the new features we added.
Also on the Vita we’ve been hard at work on the firefighting Roguelike, Flame Over. Flame Over is already one of our best looking games and we’re looking forward to sharing more details with you all next year. It’s been a long road and far more eventful than we could have ever imagined (and a lot tougher) but we think you’ll be super-impressed by our awesome fire system once we’re happy to release it into the wild. :D
2013 was also the year that Laughing Jackal moved to PC. Not only did we help our friends at Ghostlight port Agarest: Generations of War to PC, but we have also been working on a PC port of OMG HD Zombies which should be ready to release in early 2014. If you’d be interested in helping us move things along by taking part in our closed beta, please do get in touch with us via the contact form.
That’s all from me in 2013. I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and that Santa brings you all your gaming wants.
See you next year!
Until then you can join us on our Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google+ pages, where we will be posting all the news from Laughing Jackal.
