Release Roundup
Hi everyone. Those of you who keep your eye on PSN releases will have seen lots of new Laughing Jackal releases make their way onto PSN in both Europe and North America this week.
In North America we released the wonderful Hungry Giraffe exclusively free for PSN+ users. Not only is Hungry Giraffe the cutest game I’ve ever worked on, it is - as far as I’m aware - the only PlayStation Mini to run in Hi-Res when played on PS3. We’ve also got another free treat for all our North American fans as the Cubixx HD demo (which until now was exclusive to Europe) has finally made its way across the Atlantic and is available on the PSN store giving everyone in North America the chance to experience the arcade puzzling of our first ever PS3 game before they buy it.
Not that our European fans should feel left out, as we’ve released a whole host of great value Minis Bundles onto the European PSN store. Full details can be seen in our previous blogpost but to summarise, yesterday we released the following 3 bundles:
Our space shooting bundle the Ace Armstrong / Stellar Attack bundle will cost you just £3.99 (€4.99).
Our puzzles bundle the Cubixx / Vibes bundle will cost just £3.99 (€4.99).
Our Fighting Fantasy Bundle the Fighting Fantasy: Talisman and Warlock bundle is priced at only £4.99 (€5.99).
There has never been a better chance to catch up with our awesome back catalogue.
Finally we’d like to send out a big thank you to the guys over at PocketGamer who have nominated our chain reaction shooter OMG-Z for their PSP Game of the Year Award.
I’ll be back next week when we’ll have the *fingers crossed* successful general release of Hungry Giraffe to talk about. Until then, why not on join us on our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages?

While its not my kinda game, Hungry Giraffe does look very pretty on PS3, who ever got that to work is a genius!
Currently playing Hungry Giraffe for my review. How did you guys manage to make it look so good on PS3 and yet be a minis that works great on PSP as well?
@EdEN I'm not allowed to reveal the particular trick we used but it combines some things we discovered when making the Fighting Fantasy games and Ace Armstrong.
Mmm, interesting! See? Every project is important!
